Many people living in Third World countries risk their lives to escape the power and dictatorship of their government. And for most Third-World individuals who come to America, they view it as the mecca of freedom of choice.
But for many Americans, President Joe Biden’s decisionon Thursday demanding that federal workers, large employers, and health care workers who are not vaccinated, do so within a reasonable time frame, raises questions about Biden’s abuse of power, and if America is turning into Communism and Marxism society.
According to some reports, around 100 million Americans have chosen to forgo the vaccination. Yet, Biden’s underline message during his speech at the White House was that unvaccinated people (outside of medical and religious reasons) demonstrate insufficient respect for the safety and well-being of Americans who have chosen to get the COVID-19 shot.
“We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us,” Biden said. Biden said many vaccinated Americans were getting “frustrated” with the unvaccinated. “While America is in much better shape than seven months ago when I took office, I need to tell you a second fact: We’re in a tough stretch, and it could last for a while.”
Biden exercised his authority by signing an executive order that not only should federal workers get vaccinated, but the 300,000 educators in federal Head Start programs should as well. Biden also urged local governors to enforce mandatory vaccinations for school teachers and staff.
As part of his demand, Biden will require around 17 million unvaccinated health care workers and those working for employers who receive funding from Medicare and Medicaid to be fully vaccinated. These workers include staff in hospitals, home care facilities, and dialysis centers around the country.
Under Biden’s new order, he asked the Labor Department to hold all businesses with 100 or more employees responsible by ensuring that unvaccinated workers are either vaccinated or tested weekly.
And for companies unwilling to follow the Labor of Department’s rules, Biden’s proposed plan would force them to pay thousands of dollars in fines per employee. According to reports, the President sought the input of administration health officials and lawyers.
Although Biden’s Administration understands that massive lawsuits will emerge from his decision, his plan is to protect companies who enforce the vaccinated order.
Biden’s so-called tough decision stems from the surge of the Delta virus, which has steamrolled across the country causing hospitals to overflow and deaths due to the Delta virus. At first, Biden told unvaccinated Americans that they would be subjected to ongoing testing. Yet, on Thursday, his attitude changed. “The expectation is if you want to work in the federal government or be a contractor, you need to be vaccinated,” press secretary Jen Psaki said.
Federal employees will have 75 days to get vaccinated or risk being fired. In addition, the adopted “emergency temporary standard” from the Labor Department says large employers must give their workers paid time off to get vaccinated. And should any of those businesses fail to comply, the government will “take enforcement actions,” that can include “substantial fines up to nearly $14,000 per violation.”
Biden is also pleading to large entertainment venues asking that they require individuals to show evidence of being vaccinated or negative tests results before they are let into the building.
And he asked the Transportation Safety Administration to double fines for passengers who refuse to wear masks on planes. “If you break the rules, be prepared to pay — and by the way, show some respect,” he said about “air rage” that some staff members had to endure.
Biden’s overall approval has taken a dive given the way he handled the withdrawal from Afghanistan. But according to The President’s aides, his main agenda is to target the pandemic.
